Craig is PSIA Level II Adaptive Certified ski instructor, as well as a published author, disability consultant, and motivational speaker. He was raised an outdoor enthusiast and adventurer in the Adirondack Mountains in Upstate NY and moved to Steamboat Springs in 1994, where a skiing accident left him paralyzed from the waist down just two years later.
After working in the tourism industry in Steamboat five years, he and his wife Andy started their own business and spent ten years writing travel guides and providing adventure travel opportunities and information for people with disabilities. Craig has been Program Director for STARS since 2010 and remains an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys teaching others how to sit ski.
