About Mediability.pro
Mediability is a networking and marketing site established to showcase, connect and promote disabled people in the news, media, sports, arts and entertainment industries.
Mediability is the online presence of IMAGE Management, established in 1994 by Kimberley Barreda after the death of her own agent, Rhona Mickelson, founder of Star Tracks Talent Agency. Within 90 days the agency had in excess of 75 clients from around the world including World Champions, decorated Paralympians, fashion and editorial models, union and non-union actors and a deep roster of production staff and crew. In addition to ACTRA, past memberships include Women in Film and Television - Toronto (WIFT-T) and Talent Agents and Managers Association of Canada (TAMAC).
Kimberley's media experience includes radio (CFRB 1010), commercials (McDonalds, Kellogg's Corn Flakes, KMart, NDP), runway and print fashion (Sears, Eatons, The Bay, Zellers, Franco Mirabelli), episodic television (Divorce Court), feature films (From Cradle to Grave), industrial videos (Native Eyewear, CBC, Hanaford Racing), fashion show production, casting and production services. Kimberley was also part of the Toronto Theater Sports Improv program run by Wayne Cohen and the recipient of an Arts Council of Ontario grant for writing.
IMAGE Management was part of the initial round of casting for Steven Spielberg's AI and is the resource for many product marketing departments, ad agencies and news outlets for media, personalities and interview sourcing.
Working with clients such as DT Publishing, and the Disability Network, Mediability.pro continues to work promoting exceptional disabled individuals in all areas of marketing, advertising, music, entertainment, sports, and the arts.
