Melanie Waldman

Melanie SAG-AFTRA is a performer with a right arm limb difference, below the elbow. She currently wears multiple prostheses. She also is a registered adaptive yoga teacher.

About

Melanie is a passionate activist and advocate for the authentic disability representation in the media. She's the host of Amplitude Media group's "Little Miss Representation". She's an adaptive fashion model on QVC & worked on the Selma Blair & Isaac Mizrahi adaptive fashion line. Recently she was a special guest on the official "Avatar the Last Airbender" Nickelodeon podcast. There she was intervied by not only "Hook"'s Dante Basco who voices Prince Zuko but also the voice of Avatar Korra, Janet Varney. Melanie is a 2 time winner of the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge's Awareness Campaign. The film challenge is what Melanie attests to a lot of the success that she's found within disabled Hollywood & the film industry.
