• Role / Project description: LOGLINE: In 1979, a small town detective unravels when a strange murder case reignites past trauma and leads him to suspect something more sinister is at play. CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: Gladys, 30 (approximate, can be other ages) is a B-List movie actress who fell from grace after her last film garnered bad press and an on-set accident (that was not her fault) left her face scarred and/or left her with a physical disability. Despite the stigma and lack of opportunities she now faces in a superficial and prejudice industry, as well as the trauma of these still recent events, she is eager to fight her way back to the top. She is bold, determined, and an undeniable talent. She is in this small town for an indie movie that is shooting at the town's big hotel where a murder just took place.
