Amputee & On-Air-Talent @ Amp Life Talk Radio | blogtalkradio.com/amplife from 6:00pm - 6:30pm weekly on Wednesday
Sean R. Harrison is an American radio and Amputee Peer Advocate personality who underwent an amputation of his right lower leg, due to a motorcycle accident on May 19, 2012 in the Bay Area.
I became a ACA Certified Peer Visitor shortly after my accident and helped head a Support Group at Santa Clara Medical Center.
I started work for Norell Prosthetics & Orthotics 2014 as Director of Patient Care for Central Valley Area, where I live. Noticing the absence of any type of proper Amputee Peer Support, I started Amp-Life.com which eventually grew into a radio talk show/podcast for Amputee Peer Support for the Central Valley Area.
The talk show is now on a "nationwide" level reaching Canada, UK, India and all of the US.
The talk show is part of what my company Norell Prosthetics & Orthotics offers as part of it's service to help amputees and their family deal with the emotional aspect of limb loss. My company also assist and offers this service to doctors and other medical professionals.
Sean was raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
